Privacy Policy

Flames ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Flames mobile application (package com.communitydating). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Flames, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — email address or phone number used to sign in, and authentication identifiers from Firebase Auth.
• Profile information — name, age, photos, bio, preferences, community, location (city/coordinates), and other details you provide during onboarding or profile editing.
• Usage data — swipes, likes, matches, messages, and in-app actions needed to operate the service.
• Device and analytics data — device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, and analytics events via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
• Advertising data (free users only) — if you are not a Flames+ subscriber, we show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or receive your advertising ID, IP address, device information, and ad interaction data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Purchase data — subscription status and purchase tokens processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we do not store full payment card details.
• Push notification tokens — to deliver notifications about matches and messages, if you enable them.

2. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the dating service (discovery, matching, chat).
• Authenticate your account and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Process Flames+ subscriptions and entitlements.
• Show ads to non-premium users and measure ad performance.
• Send service-related notifications you opt into.
• Analyze app usage to fix bugs and improve the product.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Advertising

Flames+ subscribers do not see ads. Free users may see banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob.

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other regions where required will be shown a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are served. You can change ad personalization choices in your device settings or through the consent form.

Our authorized digital sellers file is published at app-ads.txt.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share data only as needed to run the app:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting, cloud functions.
• Google AdMob — ad serving for non-premium users.
• Google Play / Apple App Store — subscription billing.
• Service providers — SMS/email delivery for login codes where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete your account from within the app (Profile → Delete account). After deletion, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's privacy

Flames is for users 18 years and older only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided data.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing (including personalized advertising). To exercise these rights, contact us using the email below.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, including the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
